Here’s a pre-fired preview of some of the cups coming! I have no idea how they will turn out! You might remember this project from 2019—a collaboration with an artist friend of mine her in Columbus, Ohio, Kate Menke. She builds the cups, then has artists do their thing, then we give them back to her for final firing. This is something I have been looking forward to since the first time we did it. Believe me….I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see how they turn out!!! I know from my old ceramics classes….you must leave it in the kiln gods hands…sometimes they require a sacrifice. Fingers crossed!!
